  • Very first inverted-bow AHTS designed by the Norwegian ship designer ULSTEIN, The Bourbon Orca, DP2 vessel equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion, is the flagship of BOURBON fleet. Its hull design, the famous "X-Bow", based on an optimal distribution of volumes at the bow of the vessel, results in a reduction in pitching in rough seas and reduced fuel consumption.
  • At the beginning of June, the Bourbon Subsea Services project team and the crew of Bourbon Orca were towing and connecting the third 8.4 MW floating wind turbine of the Windfloat Atlantic wind farm, on the Portuguese coast. Culminating at almost 100m height, these floating wind turbines, with a total capacity of 25MW, are the most powerful ever installed.
  • 365 days a year, the French coastline is protected by 4 Emergency Towing Vessels (ETV) tugs and 3 Offshore support vessels chartered by the French Navy. Among them, the mythical Abeille Bourbon (photo), a tug with a bollard pull of over 200 t.
